Să fi învins Woodstocku?

Mă uitam ieri la clipul ăsta cu Stairway to Heaven (sincer, mie nu mi s-a părut atît de spectaculos, ţipător poate, dar nu ceva care să te mişte) şi pentru un moment m-am găndit dacă nu cumva am luat-o razna.

POTUS dînd din cap pe muzica dinozaurilor de la Led Zeppelin! Sincer, dacă-mi spuneai chestia asta acum 20 de ani, cînd mi-am cumpărat discul rusesc cu Led Zeppelin I, ţi-aş fi zis să te tratezi. Pe scurt, pare un vis devenit realitate, nu? Mai rămîne ca Hillary să fie fan Focus şi să considere că The Bluesbreakers ar trebui să se reunească (asta chiar ar fi ceva, Beck, Clapton şi Page ...).

Ar fi ceva! Oare Obama face solouri imaginare în faţa oglinzii, crezîndu-se Page? Sau îşi rupe mîinile pe Moby Dick. Să fi învins anii '70 şi n-am aflat noi? Parcă nu la lumea asta mă gîndeam cînd toceam casetele cu Yes şi mă uitam la The Song Remains The Same ...

Mă uit în jur iar lumea a devenit atît de cretină, încît nimic nu mai pare sigur, nici măcar aurul Bundesbankului, aşa că mă scuzaţi dacă am o reţinere în a crede că rocării au cîştigat Capitoliul.

Din cauza asta, nici nu  mă mai miră că după inaugurare se discută astfel de trăznăi.

Hayden, the C.I.A. director from 2006 to 2009, admitted that he was perplexed by the “dilemma” over what he was or was not permitted to say, in this case about the targeted killing of Qaeda operatives using drones — officially classified but reported in the news media every day and occasionally discussed by Mr. Obama.

“So much of that is in the public domain that right now this witness, with my experience, I am unclear what of my personal knowledge of this activity I can or cannot discuss publicly,” Mr. Hayden said. “That’s how muddled this has become.”
